How Does IPL Laser Permanent Hair Reduction Work?

IPL Laser permanent hair reduction is a highly advanced and effective method of getting rid of unwanted hair for good. IPL laser hair removal can painlessly treat nearly all types of hair on all parts of the body, through non-invasive, non-surgical and non-ionising beams of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). The most common areas that we treat for men are the back, shoulders, chest, upper arms, buttocks and hands.

Very similar to laser, IPL uses light energy to target the pigment in hair, which as a result makes it permanently incapable of producing new hair. IPL is generally safer and more effective than laser hair removal. Since 20-70% of hair on the skin is active at any one time, the number of treatments you require will vary from person to person and include other factors such as skin type, hair colour and hair density. For most men, six treatments are sufficient to give satisfactory hair reduction.
